Engage your customers and clients in friendly conversation.

Tell them you hope they'll enjoy the rest of their day or visit to the coast ... and mean it!  Smile at your customers and make eye contact. Don't forget to train the staff to do this too!

Change your window displays regularly

It needn't be every week but aim to make it 2 or 3 times at least during the season, depending on your type of business.  Write one or two welcoming and informative messages on to cards to display amongst your wares.

Add a WILL DO dish to your cafe or bar menu

Customers are bound to ask why you called it that, giving you a great opportunity to promote your involvement and share lots of good things about Mablethorpe, Sutton-on-Sea or Trusthorpe.  They'll come back for more!

Offer discounts to customers wearing a WILL DO badge )

Badges will be available for everyone who is 'doing'.  Don't forget to ask them what it IS they are doing and share the good news!  The person behind them at the counter is bound to want to join in too and get a discount next time they visit you!

Give out a WILL DO kit

Caravan site owners, chalet & guest house owners - provide your dog owning guests with free 'doggy-do' bags and a leaflet nicely asking them to help do their bit to keep Mablethorpe free of dog dirt.
