Beach Rangers – 10am - 3pm every day (Monday – Sunday). FREE Activities for local residents and tourists. Beach Rangers coordinate activities on the Beach at Skegness and Mablethorpe for children and families. The activities include cricket, play, rounders and much more. The sessions run during the 6 week school summer holidays from 19th July to 3rd September.(Weather permitting).

Give Cancer the Boot, Cancer Football Project. A 5 a side football tournament delivered in partnership between ELDC, NHS and EPOC to raise awareness of cancer in young males. Volunteers registered on the Sports Force volunteer scheme will be utilised to deliver the event. The tournament will take place on June 6 2010 between 12noon and 5pm at Station Sports in Mablethorpe. Anyone wishing to enter a team should contact Carly Elsom on 01507 601111 ext 871, or email carly.elsom@e-lindsey.gov.uk. Each team entry costs £5 with all monies raised being donated to Macmillan Cancer Research.

Beach Rangers will be providing free sports and play activities on Mablethorpe Beach from 19th July 2010 - 3rd September 2010, every day from 10am until 3pm. More activities will be added over the next few weeks.

The Funk Bus will be visiting Mablethorpe on the following dates during the Summer. - 19th May, 4pm - 6pm at Station Sports Centre - 9th June, 4pm - 6pm at Station Sports Centre - 30th June, 4pm - 6pm at Station Sports Centre - 21st July, 4pm - 6pm at Station Sports Centre
