Pledge List

I've just had my last cigarette! I pledge never to smoke another and thus help to: * Reduce the risk of me swelling the queues at the Marisco Medical centre. * Keep Mablethorpe tidy with no discarded cigarette butts (I was never a big offender!) * Make me a pleasanter person to be in a queue beside or in a meeting with - no more smelly breath! * Make me (hopefully) live longer and enjoy Mablethorpe as it becomes an even better place to live, work, play and visit. PS: The photo is probably of the last time I was a non-smoker!

I pledge to move to Mablethorpe and get involved in all aspects of the town's life!

Sadly we are leaving Mablethorpe this coming Friday, to live in Ashby de la Zouch. But I can pledge to promote Mablethorpe in any way I can. I can honestly tell people that mablethorpe has a heart of gold. I have never known a community like it, and we are sad at leaving so many good folk behind. I hope to return to visit the good friends we have made here. Good luck to you all and Au revoir.

We will make sure all our neighbours know we are here for them & if they need anything, we will do our best to help them. This is something that's been lost in the last few years with everyone being too busy to take time out to help any neighbours who are in need. Let's all look out for a neighbour, especially if they are on their own & maybe just need someone to talk to, or to collect some shopping!!
