Residents from the Neighbourhood Management Sutton-on-Sea residents forum, in partnership with the Meridale Community Centre, did a litterpick on Saturday 27th March for 2 hours. Between them they collected 20 bags of rubbish from around the town!

John Monk got the young people from Meridale to design litter posters. Mayor, Councillor Helen Parkhurst, picked out a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize. Debbie Prince, East Lindsey District Council's Neighbourhood Projects Officer, provided £15, £10 and £5 vouchers for the winning entries. The winning design is going to be made into a poster for display in the town.

A special rap was also composed for the tidy campaign.
